| Want to hide your IP address?. If you are trying to prevent websites from gathering information about your location and your Internet provider, you could try installing Hide IP Platinum. This software is supposed to hide your real IP address by forwarding all your internet traffic through a proxy server. It finds proxy servers automatically so you don’t need to do it yourself. You just click “Change IP” in the application’s menu and you’re good to go. This menu shows up when you right-click the tray icon. Of course, it’s recommended that you test your current proxy server, by accessing any webpage that shows your IP. |
